What is Bouquet in a Card?

1) Are the Bouquet in a Card bouquets made with fresh flowers?

Absolutely! Created by professional florists, all bouquets are made with the freshest flowers which are carefully secured in a sealed oasis (floral foam) and placed in a flower holder attached to the inside of the card. The finished Bouquet in a Card is packaged in a very stylish gift box and delivered in a padded envelope for maximum protection.

2) How big is a Bouquet in a Card?

The cards are 8.5” x 11” x 1” (21.5cm x 28cm x 2.5cm); the bouquets are cut and arranged to fit within these dimensions.

3) How do I choose my Bouquet in a Card – are there different kinds?

There are many different kinds! We have an ever-increasing range of card designs – each created by a local Kelowna artist with a specific theme in mind (see our Browse by Occasion or Browse by Flower sections). For each card design, several different bouquets are offered as possibilities to make the final Bouquet in a Card – each bouquet has been designed to complement the card and occasion.

We also offer our customers the opportunity to select their own flowers and design their own bouquet – please call us on 1-855-477-5661 to arrange this.

In addition, whilst we are certain that flowers are equally appropriate as gifts for men as for women, we appreciate that presentation preferences may differ! We have a gift box option that has been designed with this distinction in mind and which is consequently a little less pink than the standard presentation box. 

4) Can I choose the card design and then customise the bouquet?

Yes, of course! Please call us on 1-855-477-5661 to discuss. Depending on the time of year, some flowers may not be available but we will do whatever possible to fulfill your request.

For special occasions (weddings, corporate functions, conferences, etc...), we can help you create your own Bouquet in a Card. 5) Can I personalise my Bouquet in a Card with my own message?

Most certainly – during the checkout process, you will have the opportunity to add a message (up to x characters) to the card.

6) How long will a Bouquet in a Card last?

All the bouquets are made with fresh flowers – depending on the types of flowers, you should be able to enjoy their cheerful presence for at least 5 to 7 days. Two simple tips to preserve your beautiful flowers for as long as possible - water daily with the pipette provided and remove wilted flowers as they appear. The ‘Solo’ range (single flower) will last for at least 5 days - do not forget to top up their vial with fresh water every day. 

7) How is a Bouquet in a Card delivered?

Bouquet in a Card is delivered by Canada Post, and requires a signature. This is to ensure that the card and its fresh flowers are not left on a doorstep or in a mailbox in the extremes of temperature which we experience across Canada.

For this reason, before ordering, it would be a good idea to be sure that the recipient will be at home on or around the day of delivery and able to sign for their gift in person or to collect from the post office. We could also arrange delivery to the recipient’s workplace.

If appropriate details are provided with the order, we can send an e-mail or make a phone call to the recipient notifying them to expect a parcel from Canada Post on the day of delivery. We can suggest that, should the recipient not be home when the mail arrives, they check their doorstep/mailbox for a delivery notice to ensure they are able to fully enjoy their Bouquet in a Card from day 1.

8) What do you offer as guarantee?

Simple! If either the recipient or the customer ordering a Bouquet in a Card is unsatisfied with the final product, we will refund the purchase.
